Agile Transformation to drive consistency across channels

Throughout my career as an Agile PM, I’ve worked with large organizations across NA and MENA to embrace and thrive in a flexible, collaborative, self-organizing, and fast-changing environment. This comes through coaching agile principles and integrating its methodologies across the key value streams of the organization.

The ask:

Develop a future-facing approach that connects multiple products under one vision and enables customer centricity and efficiency at delivery. 

Key goals: 

  • Drive alignment among key areas of the business to create a unified, seamless experience across platforms and channels. 

  • Avoid overlap or impacts on the objectives and goals by aligning on one release goal and objective.

  • Deliver efficiency across teams and increase communication

Results:

By conducting a series of activities to understand the current business structure and identify value streams (using value stream mapping), we were able to identify a squad structure based on certain values and objectives. One of the key areas was to help the business to uncover and prioritize key initiatives, leveraging agile development processes. After a year of partnering for this effort, the results were impressive. Release velocity for major products has accelerated delivering a consistent experience and messaging across the different channels at the same time. We continued the work to maintain a governance structure involving a communication plan, and agile training.
